Okay so this week I have felt… WEIRD. Wanna know why? I kept pulling up my Danskin workout pants at the gym that I have had for like a year. I wasn’t even noticing what I was doing until my husband Derek pointed it out. It’s weird and totally awesome to see AND feel results in just a few weeks! Consistency. Consistency. Consistency.
But friends I want to be clear. I am working out HARD and sometimes twice a day. It’s just what I have chosen to do and set my mind to in order to achieve my goals quickly! Because Lord knows I am NOT very patient when it comes to fitness. I’m not sure why but I want results and I want them now! lol Just kidding.. well kind of. I mean I know these things take time but I am the all or nothing type of girl. So I am pushing it and staying on top of this fitness journey!
I’m not yet comfortable with sharing how much I weigh and showing photos of my stomach. I have always and forever been self conscience of this. SO to be completely honest I am not quite sure when you will be seeing them. Just bare with me. I’m a working progress! But this week I wanted to share what I have for breakfast and what my workout schedule has been the past 5 days!
Oatmeal with brown sugar
Greek Yogurt with fruits
Egg whites, salsa, sliced avocado on Ezekiel toast (the bread in the frozen section) with salt and pepper of course!
Monday – Arms
Tuesday – Back
Wednesday – Chest
Thursday – Legs
Friday – Core
I will also be starting a class at Gold’s Gym called Body Bump! It’s a very intense weight lifting class that I took last year and I feel strong enough to start again! I also wanted to share with y’all what one of my goals is this year… to do a non assisted pull up.. might sound dumb to you but I can’t do it to save my life. My legs and lower body strength is pretty awesome but upper body? Get out of here! lol But I am noticing more and more strength every single day!
I also don’t want this to be a discouragement to anyone but if you are not fully committed, you WILL fall off and you won’t see results. You have to make up your mind about loving yourself more and feeling better! Hold yourself accountable in some way! Like a blog post or a workout buddy! If you don’t even know where to start PLEASE check out LADYBOSS! I started this program and it has been such a game changer! Your meals, workouts, machine education, grocery list etc. are literally on your phone for you. You can of course change things up how you want to but it really is an amazing guide to help you get started!
Not to disappoint you…again… but I have been the worst about taking photos…I’m sorry! I will get better at this personal blog thing, I promise! But oh my goodness check out my new shoes! They’re perfect!
