THIS WEDDING WAS FEATURED ON THE KNOT!
This elegant fiesta themed wedding was as fun and full of love as it sounds!
Adriana and Mike met in March of 2013 when she was hired to the Apple Store where he worked. Mike was promoted to a different store just a few months after their meeting. He forgot to give her a weekend off she’d requested, but this gave her an opportunity to reach out to her “really cute,” now former manager. Facebook sleuthing/stalking grew to talking which quickly became their first date. They went to the movies, though neither remembers watching anything but each other.
His career would soon afford him the opportunity to be the interim Store Leader for the team at the Apple Store in El Paso. He spent a long five months from August 2015 to December 2015 away from her side, a place he vowed to never be again. For five months he asked her to watch over his noisy apartment and his even noisier dog. Before returning from El Paso, Apple offered him a new role in Dallas. He asked her to leave her life in Houston to join him there. Then he asked her to coordinate their move, so he could immediately kickoff the new year in his new store. So, he knew if he dared ask her anything else, it better be good…
In February of 2016, he surprised her with a trip to Las Vegas. Each morning, her iPhone Calendar updated with an emoji filled itinerary of the day. The day started with a delicious brunch at Mon Ami Gabi, featured a helicopter tour over Arizona, and ended with a sunset dinner in the Grand Canyon. The view was to die for. This was the location he chose to get down on one knee and pop the question. He left his phone with the pilot who captured her “yes” beautifully. Their perfect day ended as the sun faded behind the cliffs, but their adventure together has only just begun.
